Tuesday Lunch Ride - Tacos Paisano Comida Mexicana - Departs QT in Calera, exit 231 off I-65

Event date:
Tue, 11/28/2023 - 9:55am

Hey, let’s have a lunch ride – we’re going to change it up a little and leave from QT (Quick Trip Gas Station) in Calera at exit 231 on the SWC off Interstate 65.  We’ll meet on the south side of the building (on your left if you drive in facing it) please park closest to the access road (you’ll see my bike). Rider’s meeting at 9:55 and KSU to follow – feel free to arrive a little early and get a snack before we leave – the ride is approximately 75 miles about 2.5 hours including the break with all backroads and visuals on cultural treats such as the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum and the Shelby County Iron Works.  We’ll take a break at the 51 Country Store before arriving at our destination, Tacos Paisano Comida Mexicana. Johanna and I have eaten there and it’s very good – you’ll notice most of the customers are Hispanic, which is an indication the food is pretty good. Remember full tank – empty bladder. Hope to see you there as it’s always more fun when you’re there!! smiley
