“Thirstday” Pizza Run Ride – Departs HOD 10:00 AM

Destination: Grimaldi's Pizzeria, 5225 Peridot Pl #121, Hoover, AL 35244

(Lunch ride to Grimaldi's Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria in Hoover for a “Thirstday” Pizza run!)

Ride Information: Ride departs from HoD. The rider's meeting will be at 10:00 AM. KSU will follow. The purpose of this short “Thirstday” ride is to “Ride and Have Fun” and since Head Road Captain Tony P. has been jonesing to check out the hottest new pizza place in town, have lunch at Grimaldi's Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria in Hoover!  All current HOG chapter members (and guests with signed waiver) are welcome.


Ride Theme: “Thirstday Pizza Run Ride”

Ride Plan: The ride will cover approximately 58 miles (+/-) with no planned breaks, to our lunch stop. The route will take 35 and 52 from HOD over 31 through Helena to 13/Grey Hill Road to Green Pond to Eastern Valley to Ben Hill Rd. to the “infamous” Pocahontas Rd to Shades Crest to Brock’s Gap Parkway to Stadium Trace Pkwy. The ride time is approximately 1.5 hours with no planned stops (plan accordingly before departing HOD). Ride ends at Grimaldi's Pizzeria (easy access to HWY 150 & I-459 ride home options).

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Heart of Dixie Chapter #1590 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy
