Destination: HOD- Columbiana-Paradise Point-HOD (lunch at The Point Grill and Bar Lakefront at Paradise Point Marina).
Ride Information: This ride departs from HoD. The rider's meeting will be at 10:00 AM. KSU will follow. The purpose of this “Cheeseburger in Paradise Ride” is to “Ride and Have Fun” (as Big G would say) and enjoy some “twisty” and “scenic” roads in central Alabama (and enjoy a “Cheeseburger in Paradise”)! All current HOG chapter members (and guests with signed waiver) are welcome.
Ride Theme: “Cheeseburger in Paradise Ride”
Ride Plan: Ride Plan: The ride will cover approximately 80 miles (+/-) round trip from HOD through Columbiana to Paradise Point Marina on Lay Lake for lunch at The Point Grill and Bar Lakefront and back to HOD (optional/TBD). The route is all back roads from HOD to Oak mountain to 52 to 11 to 36 to 39 to 331 (AKA the infamous Fire Tower Road) to 34 (AKA Joinertown Road) through Columbiana to 28/Ferry Road to Paradise Point Marina. Riding time to the restaurant is approximately 1 hour (+/-).

(As with all rides, remember to arrive on a motorcycle (or trike) with a full fuel tank. You must have current HOG membership in HOGSCAN (or signed waiver). Rain cancels the ride. Allow yourself enough time for personal needs (restroom, socializing, etc.).
Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Heart of Dixie Chapter #1590 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy
Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Heart of Dixie Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
