Ride Information: This ride departs from HOD. The rider's meeting will be at 10:00 AM. KSU will follow. The purpose of this ride is to “Ride and Have Fun” (as Big G. would say) exploring some of Shelby and Bibb County’s best back roads, Highway 10 and Marvel Rd and ending up at one of our dear friend Rick Glover’s favorite restaurants, El Tejano Mexican in Helena for lunch! All current HOG chapter members (and guests with a signed waiver) are welcome.
Ride Theme: “Highway 10 Ride on the 10th (aka Tuesday Lunch ride to El Tejano)”
Ride Plan: The ride will cover approximately 69 miles (+/-) with one break (TBD) en route to our lunch stop at El Tejano. The route will take 35, 33, and 52 from HOD through Helena to Highway 17 down through Montevallo to Highway 25 to Highway 10, returning to Highway 17 to El Tejano, ride ends at lunch, with option of returning to HOD after lunch (TBD/weather permitting). The ride time is approximately 2 hours with one planned stop (Jack's in Montevallo/TBD).

Road Captain(s): Paul D. 205-799-8002 (As with all rides, remember to arrive on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a full fuel tank. Rain cancels the ride. Allow yourself enough time for personal needs (restroom, socializing, etc.).
Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Heart of Dixie Chapter #1590 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy
Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Heart of Dixie Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
